COOMBA ALL-STARS:

Ethno/World/Groove/Jazz.

Coomba All-Stars have just release their debut single ‘Arrawarra’ and it is out now  on all streaming platforms.

‘Arrawarra’ was written back in 2018 but the band wasn’t formed until 2021 as a trio, and then evolved into a quintet in 2022. ‘Arrawarra’ is inspired by hanging out early on summer mornings out at the Indigenous ancient fish traps off the headland of Arrawarra/Gumbaynggirr, Mid North Coast, NSW.

Arrawarra/Yee Warra has been a significant meeting place and sacred site for the Garby people of the Gumbaynggirr Nation for millennia.

The song was recorded/edited by Ian ‘Coomba’ Watson at Panic Room Studios, The Manor, Gadigal/Marrickville, mixed/edited by Nat Love at Kangaroo Moon Recording, Darkinjung/Gosford and mastered by William Bowden at King Willy Sound, Kanamaluka/Launceston.
